Welcome: The Business Association of Playa de Mogán


Playa and Puerto de Mogan is located in one of the areas with the best climate around the Canary archipelago. It is located in the southwest of the island of Gran Canaria and is part of the municipality of Mogán. The main attraction of this destination is Port, also known by some as the "Venice of the Canaries" for its romantic style and its canals and bridges. The Beach is 190 meters with fine yellow sand, where one can swim all year round, with the water temperature is 18 ˚ in winter and 22 ˚ in summer. The Open Trade Zone and Puerto de Mogan Playa offers several small shops, bars and restaurants with terraces to take advantage of romantic corners of the Port Area and the Old Town and the wonderful views over the sea, the beach and the harbor.

  Last Friday 21st of july 2017, the mayor of Mogán, Onalia Bueno, blamed the hotels and restaurants of Playa de Mogán, for the bad smells in this very popular village for tourists in the South of Gran Canaria. According to her, we are discharging used fat in our kitchens directly into the sewerage system.
